BOUNDARY LESS ORGANIZATION
Boundary less organization is used to eliminate any boundaries that might be evident between subsystems of an organization. Boundary less organization utilizes both network and team structures but these are usually on a temporary basis. There are no evident lines of authority in this organization and communication is the key to success. Organizational members are viewed to be as one instead of having members viewed one higher than the other. Absence of internal and external control allows organization members to work with flexibility. The key factors of success of this organization are technology utilization, no hierarchy, and accepting temporariness. In such organization, the work is done with people coming together to get the work done. Elimination of bureaucratic restrictions is believed to be beneficial to the organization members as they can achieve much more. There are no job titles or formal assignments, people with talent coming together as needed to get the work finished. Another part of this organization is virtual organization which utilizes information technology to engage in alliances that would benefit the organization.
